Rainbow Fame Industrial (Plastics Division) manufacturers Barrier films for hygiene products, tailored to customer needs. The barrier films (Polyethylene Films) and laminates are used as barrier films in the hygiene industry for products such as sanitary napkins, baby diapers, incontinence protection and surgical drapes. Both breathable and non-breathable materials can be used.

Our Eco Friendly Compostable & Hybrid Film Market

Bio films are obtained from renewable biomass sources, specially having starch & oil based content. These films because of their unique chemical formulation, helps in reducing the environmental pollutions and related hazards. Bio films, being eco-friendly at the same time can be used as a substitute of 100% petrochemical based films and use in its related applications. Our bio films can be categorized into the following types:

Hybrid Film

Hybrid films contain renewable content from 15% up to 35% thus reducing the carbon footprint by a large extent. These films have a homogeneous blend of starch with polyethylene thus offering high tensile strength and toughness.

Compostable Films

Compostable films contains 100% renewable content and does not contain any non bio-degradable polymers such as PE, PP, etc. These films are fully bio-degradable during composting in professionally managed composting facilities. The manufacturing process for these films is done using blow molding, the film is tested under DIN EN 13432:2000-12 and ASTM D 6400:2012-1 standards.
